2010 Pinewood Derby Champion

Steve and Andrew (mainly Steve) wanted me to post this. Andrew was the 2010 Pinewood Derby Champion. This was his first year competing and he had a great time.

Here are the cars all lined up. Andrew's car is in lane 5. The BYU blue one with the Lego man at the wheel.

When Mother Nature gives you snow...

MAKE A SNOWMAN!!! And of course some big snowballs so you'll have snow for the next few days. This is what we woke up to on May 24th! It was awesome! (I hope you could hear the sarcasm coming through the computer when you read that last sentence!)

Pinky Promise

So Emma does this new thing where she makes you "pinky promise" everything. She doesn't understand how a pinky promise works but I think it so cute the way she uses it. Here's an example from today. "Mom, can I watch Sleeping Beauty?" "Sure. I think it is downstairs with the other movies." "Pinky promise, mom?" and then she sits there with her pinky finger waiting for me to hook and shake on it. I get a big grin every time we have to "pinky promise". So funny.

Zach is 1!

Our baby is 1! It went by so fast! We love Zachary. His brothers and sister will do anything for him. They love to play with him and make him laugh. It really is joyous.
